Saw the Cedar WaxWings up in the backyard neighbors Pecan tree again. You hear them before you see them. They're almost always in flocks and they have a high, thin almost whispered call note. The flock sounds almost ghostly.

Spring migration is peaking in the Austin area right now. I hope you get a chance to get out and bird a little more than usual for the next couple weeks!
