Carolina Chickadees

I haven't seen these little birds for a long time, but my new feeder strategy seems to be paying off. A pair were at the black oil sunflower seed feeder and even visited the thistle feeder but didn't stay there too long. I tried to get a shot but it came out very blurry. Oh well. Now for a tufted titmouse.

Female black chinned Hummingbird

Was at my feeders Saturday morning July 1 about 9 a.m. Stayed for a bit and then buzzed off. They're out there. Now to get them to come regularly.

The cardinals are prominent right now. See them everyday in the yard. One male seems to particularly like figs. The Starlings like these too, but the cardinal is a gentler and more welcome visitor.

This may acutally be female Ruby throat.
